Stella Wakefield receives 2016 Andrew West Award

The 2016 Andrew West Award was presented to Stella Wakefield, a new Kyudoka who was selected by the master instructor of the annual International Kyudo Federation Seminar in the Americas. The Hanshi selects an individual who most exemplifies the spirit of Kyudo, solely on personal example of embodying the principles of Shin, Zen, Bi in Kyudo Life.

Andrew West's (December 8, 1971 to August 16, 1999) mother and father funds the award.
