This page will be for information from the International Kyudo Federation (IKYF) about the organization and events.
Of note are the following two international seminars that are sponsored by the IKYF:
You can see the full schedule here: http://www.ikyf.org/event_schedule/
Sensei Carly Born of the Minnesota Kyudo Renmei has provided us with an updated (draft) translation of the Q&A book. This is the book that was referenced many times at the last AKR seminar in Minnesota.
The IKYF has shared the officially-approved document on How to Perform Rissha (Standing Form). It was translated by Earl Hartman sensei.
I am pleased to invite you all to the 2016 International Kyudo Federation American Seminar. The 3-day general seminar will take place July 18th - 20th, with a rank examination on July 21st. We will once again be hosting the seminar at Carleton College in Northfield, MN Please see the attached letter of invitation and official announcements from the IKYF for the details. All seminar information is also available on our website at: http://www.mnkyudo.org/2016-ikyf-seminar/
The cost for this 3-day seminar will be $410. While the planning committee wanted to keep the fee the same as last year, the IKYF insisted on raising the price to account for some of their costs.
We are also trying to see if we can arrange for an enteki exhibition event, but it will depend on weather and if we can get the college to let us use the fields behind the Rec Center to do this (so far, so good!). Stay tuned for more info about that!
Blackwell-sensei and Yoshiko-sensei, please forward this on to the groups you work with in other countries.
As more information becomes available, we will be posting update to our website and our MNKR Facebook page.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank those from outside the MNKR who volunteered to be on the 2016 Seminar Planning Committee, they have already been tremendously helpful and I look forward to continuing to work with them in the upcoming months.
I'm looking forward to seeing all of you in Minnesota this July!

Please refer to the attached file for the official record of the Second World Kyudo Taikai (Paris) held on July 19, 20.
International Kyudo Federation General Assembly (held on July 17) decided that The Third World Kyudo Taikai will be held at Japan on 2018.
France 3 TV channel posted this short video about the IKYF Taikai in Paris. The video is in French without subtitles. I was not able to embed the video, but if you follow the link it should work fine.
Attached are the rosters and participant lists for those participating in the Second Seikai Taikai.
The schedule for the event in Paris can be viewed by downloading "schedule B-C English.pdf" document listed at the bottom of this page.
The official invitation to the welcome reception is also available in the document called "invitationofreception.doc". Please contact Blackwell-sensei to indicate that you would like to attend the reception by July 7th.
Participants in the special examination at Paris next month should download the documents listed below that begin with "Paris2014_". These documents include the Shinsa Announcement, the Shinsa program, the written exam questions and the written exam answer sheet. Those taking the shinsa at Paris must use the answer sheet to complete their answers to the appropriate written exam questions and bring them to the shinsa examination to turn in when you check in for the examination.
